KOCHI: The hand of a woman which was cut off in an accident has been sutured successfully.
The surgery was performed on Sarojini, 28, wife of Sudheer hailing from Tamil Nadu residing at Pallilamkara near Kalamassery, at Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences (AIMS) here the other day.
A team of plastic surgeons led by Dr Sandeep Vijayaraghavan and Dr Kishore conducted the surgery. It was on July 7 that a private bus hit Sarojini near Kalamassery Junction.
