New Delhi: After Sanjay Dutt and Salman Khan, it's none other than King Khan who is to face legal action. The Mumbai High Court on Thursday asked actor Shahrukh Khan and his wife Gauri to file an affidavit explaining alleged irregularities in the construction of their bunglow ‘Mannat’ at Bandra, Mumbai.

The two have been given 14 days’ time to respond.

The court was acting on a Public Interest Litigation filed by the NGO Bhrashtachar Nirmulan Sanghatana. The PIL, filed in 2006, stated that the bunglow was encroaching on to the main road and should be demolished.

Shahrukh’s home is a beautiful palatial sea facing house, guarded by a huge high iron gate and tight security. It has been more than three-years since the actor purchased the house and sources say that he has still not transferred it onto his own name. The bunglow at present is in the name of a trust called Bai Khorshed Bhanu Sanjana Trust.

‘Mannat’ was used for the shooting of films earlier. Many rumours are associated with the building. Films shot in this bungalow got shelved which included an unnamed project by Aamir Khan and director Shekhar Kapoor's sci-fi thriller Time Machine.
