Sharif, Zardari, persue Pakistan coalition

Shahzad Raza, CNN-IBN

Islamabad: Attempts by Pakistan Muslim League chief Nawaz Sharif and Pakistan Peoples Party leader Asif Ali Zardari to cobble together a coalition government have begun now.

Ahead of that the lawyers were teargassed in Karachi and reports that Musharraf warned Zardari that corruption cases would be revived if he joins Sharif.

“I want to take all friends and allies out of it,” says Zardari.

“People are talking of sitting in the opposition, not joining the government at the centre,” adds CM PML-N, Raja Zafarul Haq.
