But when it comes to investments, former banker Soha doesn't have much advice for her parents.
"Most of the time, they know it better than I. There are so many options that they know so much more about," Soha said.
Apart from adding the glam quotient to Mahindra's latest investment, this mother daughter team will be seen together in the next Aparna Sen movie.
"It's a Bengali offer by Aparna Sen. She's not yet decided if she wants to make it in Hindi or English. It's the story of three generations and gold and jewellery," Sharmila said.
