Dubai: The stars were out and glittering at the fourth Dubai International Film Festival, and one of them, veteran Hollywood actress, Sharon Stone spoke to CNN-IBN’s Somen Mishra about her involvement in AIDS initiatives, her love for Bollywood and India.
Sharon Stone: We have taken our research into India, China, into Africa and around the world. And it's such an opportunity for people to show the world that we work together in a peaceful way and that we have to be loving and compassionate and not separate about this. It's a message of peace and hope.
Somen Mishra: Do you think it’s difficult being beautiful and opinionated in Hollywood?
Sharon Stone: No, I think it’s difficult being foolish and spending your beauty in a worthless way.
Somen Mishra: Millions of fans in India still remember you as the Basic Instinct girl?
Sharon Stone: I take that as a compliment.
Somen Mishra: Are you familiar with Indian cinema?
Sharon Stone: Yes I am, of course we love Bollywood and I got the award of compassion a few years ago. I loved being there a lot and had a great time at the award ceremony.
