Shehla murder case: Charges framed against all 5 accused

Indore: A Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) special court in Indore on Saturday framed charges against all five accused in the RTI activist Shehla Masood murder case.

However, Indore Additional sessions court judge rejects Shehla's father plea seeking transfer of her murder trial to the Bhopal High Court.

The five accused are Zahida Pervez, Saba Farooqui, Saquib Ali (Danger), Irfan and Tabish.

The chargesheet filed by CBI on May 25 blamed Zahida, Saba and Saquib for the murder and conspiracy of Shehla.

According to CBI, Shehla was shot dead in front of her house at Koh-e-Fiza area on August 16, 2011 by alleged sharp shooter Irfan while Tabish accompanied him on the motor cycle at the spot and Saquib kept an eye on them from a safe distance.
