Sheila Dikshit dismisses challenges posed by Kejriwal, Vardhan in Delhi polls

New Delhi: Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit has dismissed the challenge posed by Aam Aadmi Party and BJP chief ministerial candidates Arvind Kejriwal and Harsh Vardhan respectively in the forthcoming Assembly polls on December 4. She was speaking to CNN-IBN's Karan Thapar on Devil's Advocate.

Here is an excerpt of the interview:

Karan Thapar: This time around you face two credible chief minsterial candidates as your opponents. Harsh Vardhan of the BJP, Arvind Kejriwal of the AAP.

Sheila Dikshit: What did you say credible. You used the word credible. Fine. They are credible for their parties, the people will decide on the December 4 who is more credible. Why don't you leave it to the people.

Karan Thapar: The difference is in 2008, you had VK Malhotra who was an easy push over for you. This time around Arvind Kejriwal and Harsh Vardhan will give you a tougher fight. And with onion prices behind you, with the law and order problem behind you, you suddenly face a challenge?

Sheila Dikshit: No, I would not use a tougher fight. I would say a different kind of fight because they are different characters, they are different people so lets see what happens.

Karan Thapar: Are you confident you will get a fourth term?

Sheila Dikshit: I go with that confidence, certainly.
