Show with specially-abled kids thrills stars

Mumbai: Friday evening saw the likes of Amitabh Bachchan and Hema Malini come in support of Shiamak Davar's production I Believe in Mumbai.

The choreographer was clearly over the moon.

“Mr Bachchan was here and I love him – I say it in every interview – he was here five minutes to eight, everyone was waiting, but he was here before time,” Shiamak enthused.

Even though the show had a blend of Bollywood and Western acts, it was the final act performed by specially-abled children that stole the show.

Bollywood’s glitterati was quite pleased with the synthesis.

“He got these kids up on the stage and blended them with everyone. It was amazing and we are proud to have him,” Amitabh Bachchan recounted.

“I am going to pick up some ideas for my shows,” said singer Shaan.

Hema Malini added, “Shiamak is so good, I am really inspired.”

Shiamak will soon be joining Big B on his Unforgettable world tour and that's an experience the choreographer himself believes would be be unforgettable.

“I have never been for a world tour and this will be my first tour, that too with Mr. Bachchan. You can’t ask for anything more,” Shiamak said.
