New Delhi: The Shiv Sena has declared that it will celebrate Marathi Bhasha Diwas on Wednesday, to promote the cause of the Marathi language.
Wednesday is the birth anniversary of Marathi writer, V V Shirwadkar who writes under the pseudonym, Kusumagraj.
The Sena has said it will organise programmes and symposiums featuring eminent Marathi personalities.
An exhibition and sale of Marathi books and a programme on the life of V V Shirwadkar will be organised.
Sena Executive President, Uddhav Thackeray will deliver a public address on Wednesday evening.
