Shivpuri: 13 trapped bus passengers rescued

New Delhi: Nearly 13 people who had been trapped in a bus as it got stuck in a pothole on a bridge over the Mahwar river were rescued on Saturday morning.

As the water level rose in the river, the passengers climbed over to the rooftop of the bus.

The district administration, Army, CRPF and ITBP personnel carried out the relief and rescue operations.

The 13 were trapped as their bus got stuck in a pothole on a bridge over the Mahua river.
