Shoot at sight ordered against leopards in Surat

Surat: Gujarat Forest department has issued shoot at sight orders in Surat district after a pack of leopards went on a killing spree.

Four people were killed by the cats over the past 10 days. Forest department personnel had already shot and injured one leopard that was suspected of killing a teenage girl on Friday, but it escaped.

A massive search operation has been launched in the area so far.
