Vikram Bhatt's 1920 shot in UK haunted house

Mumbai: It's the season of spooky films and for all those who have managed to chill their spines with RGV's Phoonk, there's Vikram Bhatt's 1920 next.

It's a film that promises to scare audiences like never before and it's not just the final film that is spooky. Shooting at the film's location, a haunted house in Yorkshire was a creepy expereince for the actors too.

Actor Adah Sharma says, "The house has the spirit of a lady. The bathroom doors would shut on their own, lights would go off."

But the success of Phoonk was like a a shot in the arm to the team of 1920.

Actor Rajneesh Duggal says, "It's perfect timing. People who have watched Phoonk will definitely watch 1920 too."

What's more, the film's director Vikram Bhatt is already claiming that 1920 will be a bigger hit than Raaz, his last horror film and the only big hit to his name thus far. However, he is not ready to compare 1920 and Raaz.

"It's not fair to compare the two films. They are two different rides altogether," says he.

Well with all those tall claims, all one hopes is that the film doesn't scare the audience out of the theatres.
