The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) boasts of their Bollywood starts studded image.
While angry Veeru (Dharmendra) has made it clear that he has had enough of politics and won’t be the BJP's candidate from Bikaner this time around, shotgun Sinha has issued a veiled threat.
BJP Leader, Shatrughan Sinha said that he wished to take a break from politics.
The party immediately realised that there is a limit of testing his patience.
BJP president Rajnath Singh said, " We will be giving him a ticket. "
However, there have been problems as well. Hema Malini has done more than her share of gaffes and caused embarrassment for the saffron brigade.
There have been complaints to the high command of absenteeism by prominent film stars who are also members of the Lok Sabha and so many in the party also feel that rules should be applicable for all.
BJP spokesperson, Rajiv Pratap Rudy says, "We are not a star driven party."
It is a known fact that many filmstars are huge crowd pullers, but the ground reality is that this transition from cinema to politics is not always as smooth.
