Shruti Hassan to make TV debut in a music show

Actress-musician Shruti Hassan is all set to make her TV debut in a new music-based show directed by "Shaitan" ditrector Bejoy Nambiar.

The show 'MTV Rush' is a 13 part film series and will be aired on MTV from July 15. In one of the show's episodes, superstar Kamal Hassan's daughter will be seen performing her original compositions on stage at a concert.

"When Bejoy approached me with the concept of the show I absolutely loved it. I am extremely thrilled about being part of 'MTV Rush', where viewers will see me perform one of my original compositions. I had a fabulous time shooting for it

The actress was last seen in "Dil Toh Baccha Hai Ji" last year. She has also been signed on to star in actor-turned-director Prabhu Deva's next film.
