Now that is almost confirmed that Jiiva will replace Vijay in Seeman's comeback venture 'Pagalavan', a hunt is on for the heroine. "Shruti Haasan is likely to play the female lead," says a source.
"Seeman is keen to have Jiiva and Shruti on board, as he feels that the two actors will fit well the characters he has penned. While Jiiva has already been signed, attempts are on to rope in Shruti," says the source.
To be produced by Kalaipuli S Thanu, 'Pagalavan', a socio-action entertainer, which is expected to take a dig at loopholes in the system. In Seeman's own words, it is about the inaccessibility to proper education.
