Mumbai: The Shetty sisters are shifting gears from in front of the camera to behind the camera. Shilpa and Shamita Shetty are turning producers with a film that will reportedly star Akshay Kumar and Bipasha Basu.

"The production house has come into my life just about six months ago. It's pretty new. All I can tell you is that our first film is going to be an action film. You will have to wait and watch for more," says Shamita.

The film will be directed by Manish Jha of Mathrubhoomi fame, who is also the man behind Shilpa's Yoga videos. And if you're wondering if any of the Shetty sisters are acting in their first home production then yes, they are.

"Shilpa is going to be in the film, but not me. If we get good scripts, we might act together," says Shamita.

And if the sisters are even half as good behind the camera as they are in front of it, then producers should watch out for they really do mean business!
