Chennai: It's been over 150 days since the Rajnikanth starrer Sivaji hit theatres, but the superstar mania is still on. And cashing in on this are the makers of Sivaji – AVM and Navneet publications who have introduced custom-made Sivaji merchandise that includes notebooks with superstar's pictures.

“People are ready to grab any memorabilia of Sivaji post its release. So we thought what better way to please them but by giving them something of use like these notebooks,” says CEO, AVM Productions, S C Balu.

The smaller notebooks come in packs of five and the bigger ones in sets of three – and the bonus is a free CD of Sivaji's songs, a poster of the film and four mobile downloads.

“Notebooks are something that students often find boring to use. So why not make a boring and dull thing interesting,” says VP, Stationery Division, Navneet Publications (India Limited), Shailendra Gala.

But that’s not all. The Sivaji mania isn't dying down any time soon. The Hindi version of the film is also on it's way.

"We're putting efforts in selecting a good dialogue writer. The dialogue writer is Swanand who's written for Lage Raho…. After enquiring and watching a lot of films, I settled on him,” says director, Shankar.

Sivaji, the film is swiftly marching towards it's 200th day. And we aren't likely to see the superstar in a film for another year at least. So until then here's something for the fans to treasure.
