Six killed, 25 hurt in Pakistan blast

Rawalpindi (Pakistan): Six people were killed and 25 injured in a suicide bomb attack that ripped through a crowded market in Pakistan's Rawalpindi city, media reports said on Thursday.

The blast took place in Chauhar Chowk of Rawalpindi, Geo News reported.

According to preliminary reports, a motorist rammed into a bus parked near a petrol pump and blew himself up, injuring the passengers.

The explosion took place in a crowded commercial area.

Rawalpindi is the headquarters of the Pakistani military.
