Jammu: Sixteen Amarnath pilgrims were killed and 18 others injured when the bus they were travelling rolled down on a gorge near Digdole on Jammu-Srinagar highway at around 11.30 pm on Saturday.
The state transport bus was on its way to Jammu from Kashmir Valley when it skidded off the road at Digdole near Ramban about 165 km from Jammu.
The pilgrims were returning from Amarnath in Jammu and Kashmir. The injured have been admitted to Ramban hospital.
