Shimla: Fifteen people were killed and six injured when a bus they were travelling in fell into a gorge in Himachal Pradesh's Shimla district on Sunday morning.
The Himachal Road Transport Corporation bus on its way to Rampur when it fell into a gorge near Rampur town which is 130 km from Shimla.
The injured were admitted to the civil hospital, police station house officer Puran Chand said.
He said most of the passengers were residents of Rampur and nearby areas.
Reports say the driver lost control over the vehicle while negotiating a turn. The driver is among those injured.
Local authorities say the bodies of all those killed have been recovered.
