BANGALORE: A skeleton of a youth, who was allegedly murdered four months ago, was found at a house in Sonnappanahalli in Chikkajala on Thursday. According to police, the deceased Prem Chand Singh, was a worker at a cement mixing factory. Police suspect the assailants have killed him by dropping boulders on his head. The body was totally decomposed and only bones were recovered from the spot.
Muttamma, the landlord, in her complaint stated that three persons from Uttar Pradesh had rented a house four months ago and had paid Rs 1,500 as advance. She alleged that the trio was missing a couple of weeks after they shifted to the house and it has been locked since then.
She stated that the incident came to light when she broke open the door of the house to rent it out to other tenants.
She found bones lying on the floor and informed the police. However, there is no details about the other two tenants. The skeleton was shifted to a hospital for autopsy.
