Ranchi: Jharkhand administration claims to have identified the man behind the beheading of police officer Francis Induwar.
According to Jhrakhand officials 28-year-old Kundan Pahan, who is also the most-wanted Naxal leader in the state, is allegedly responsible for the gruesome killing of Induwar.
Pahan has allegedly killed more than 70 people, which includes many policemen, security officials and also civilians
Jharkhand Police have also sent out of several search parties to hunt down Pahan.
However, Induwar's wife Sunita Induvar claimed that not much effort was put into the search for her abducted husband by the authorities.
"According to media reports Kundan Phawan is behind the murder of my husband. I think it is right. If the search operation could have been carried the way it was made for Andhra Pradesh chief minister (YS Rajashekhara Reddy) then it could had been different today. The administration made lapses in his search operation. The kind of allegations made on my late husband is baseless. He didn't go to the market for fun but to buy grocery for home. This makes me feel really sad," says Sunita.
"Everyone is angry now but public memory is too short. They will forget about my husband eventually," she adds.
Induwar’s seven-year-old son Abhishek says that he has now forgiven his father's killer.
"I don't want to take revenge. My mother asked me to forgive the killers. I will also become a policeman like my father and work like him. This will be my tribute to him," says Abhishek.
