Mumbai: Slumdog Millionaire star kids Rubina and Azhar have been on a roller coaster ride since their movie made it to the Oscars and also won some of the most prestigious film awards of the world.
These kids hail from the slums of Mumbai but that did not stop them from raising funds for charity and that too in Hong Kong.
On Saturday nine-year-old Rubina Ali Quereshi and 10-year-old Azharuddin Mohammed Ismail performed live at two shopping malls for a charity do. And accompanying them was nine-year-old Ayush Khedekar who did all the talking.
“I am going to dance in Disneyland,” says Ayush.
A trip to Hong Kong, an invitation from the British parliament and now London-based Transworld Publishers have announced that they will be publishing Rubina Ali's biography which will be titled Slumgirl Dreaming: My Journey to the Stars.
