Mumbai: There was a scare on Jet Airways' flight 9W 523 from Mumbai to Riyadh on Monday. The flight was asked to return to bay by the ATC just before take-off.
Reports say the flight was asked to return to bay after smoke was spotted in one of the engines. The fire was extinguished and the passengers were evacuated.
There were around 115 passengers on the flight and all of them were reportedly safe. Investigations were on to find out what caused the fire.
