Mumbai: What was supposed to be a press conference to support tobacco health warnings for world No Tobacco Day turned out to be a babies day out of sorts. Actor-filmmaker Sohail Khan brought his two kids Ahaan and Nirvaan to the event on Saturday afternoon, as it was his day to babysit them.
Sohail seemed to be having a ball with his children who also participated in creating awareness about the adverse effects of tobacco consumption.
“It was my day of babysitting, so I tricked them into coming here by offering them Chinese food. Ahaan and Nirvaan have also written slogans for all you people to quit smoking,” Sohail said.
Come Monday, the Cancer Patients Aid Association is organizing a cricket match between Bollywood celebs and doctors to raise awareness for No Tobacco Day.
And the celebs who will be trying their hand at cricket will include Aftab Shivdasani, Sohail Khan, Raima Sen, Milind Soman, Arjan Bajwa and Riteish Deshmukh among others.
Speaking about the event, former cricketer Vinod Kambli said, “I am a cricketer and an actor because I have done two movies, but from now you can call me Sr. Vinod Kambli because I am going to play for the doctors and let me warn Bollywood I will make them lose.”
While actress Raima Sen said, “I don't know anything about cricket. I told them to make me a cheerleader but they wanted me to play the game.”
And Aftab Shivdasani summed it all for us, “Cricket is so much fun and that too with a cause.”
We may have another IPL team in the making here!
