New Delhi: JD(U) chief Sharad Yadav on Wednesday took on the government and demanded a rollback of FDI in multi-brand retail. Speaking in the Lok Sabha during the FDI debate, Sharad Yadav said, "If you do not roll back FDI in multi-brand retail, we will roll back the government."

Taking a jibe at the government, Sharad Yadav also said that a day will come when the government will bring FDI in skin. "A time will come when you will want to bring in FDI in skin, you will say now change the skin tone to white like Michael Jackson," Sharad Yadav said.

He also said that the government was more concerned about the world markets than the country. Sharad Yadav also said he did not want the government to fall, but was against FDI in retail. "Had we wanted this govt to fall, then we would have backed TMC trust motion. We are not supporting FDI in retail. PM and Sonia ji have left the House, I wish they were here to listen. TMC was upset with us, they are not responding to us as we did not support them," Sharad Yadav said.
