Mumbai: Actress Sonakshi Sinha is all set to essay the role of a gangster's moll in the sequel to 'Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai', opposite Akshay Kumar. "Its official! @sonakshisinha is part of one of the films I'm looking forward to watching the most. ONCE UPON A TIME IN MUMBAI..AGAIN," said Sonakshi Sinha's brother, Luv on Twitter.
Reportedly, earlier Kareena Kapoor and Kangana Ranuat were approached for this role.
This is Sonakshi's third outing with Akshay. She has teamed up with the 'Khiladi' in Shirish Kunder's 'Joker' and Prabhu Deva's 'Rowdy Rathore'. Both the films are slated to release this year.
The sequel to 'Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai' stars Akshay Kumar, Sonakshi and Imran Khan in lead roles and will be directed by Milan Luthria. Akshay will be playing Shoaib, a character modelled on underworld don Dawood Ibrahim in the movie.
