New Delhi: Alongside the launch of the Xperia Z amd Xperia ZL smartphones in India, Sony also announced the launch of its new tablet - Xperia Tablet Z - in India. Though the phones will hit store shelves in India starting March 2013, the tablet will be available by May 2013.

The tablet is light in weight. It is claimed to be the world's slimmest LTE tablet. The tablet has a 10.1-inch HD Reality Display, powered by Mobile Bravai Engine 2. The tablet is both water and dust resistant.
