Film buffs of yesteryear can not forget Sowcar Janaki that easily. For, the actress carved a niche for herself in the industry with her impeccable performance as a heroine and character artiste.
And now, she is back after a long gap. Janaki will be seen playing a crucial role in a film titled 'Vanavarayan Vallavarayan', which has 'Kazhugu' fame Krishna as the protagonist.
The film produced by Rajapandian is directed by Raj Mohan, who helmed 'Kungumapoovum Konjum Puravum' before. Says Janaki, "I am happy to play a role in 'Vanavarayan Vallavarayan'. It's an interesting script and I have an interesting role."
Stating that she would continue to act in films, the veteran who was part of more than 385 movies, says, "I never bid adieu to cinema. But offers stopped suddenly as people thought that I would not act anymore."
