Raja Babu Singh was transferred from the district after Chetna's death.
Earlier Chetna’s family had said that the government is influencing the investigations into her daughter murder, the investigating officers are tight lipped.
Chetna’s father Kedar Nath Sharma said, “Even big officials came under pressure. Three doctors who earlier said it was a case of murder have forged the post mortem report. All investigating agencies are under government pressure. The Chief Minister is not letting the case to move forward.”
Photographs of the crime scene clearly show the position in which her body was found, the way her arms were placed and the entry and exit points of the bullet.

MP Home Minister Nagendra Singh said, “It is a very serious matter and we are taking time so as to reach the right conclusion. All the allegations that are being leveled are being taken into consideration. Whether it is death or suicide culprits will be nabbed.”
