New Delhi: Neeraj Pandey's latest heist film 'Special 26' is doing good business at the ticket window. The film has shown considerable increase in the business on Saturday. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweets, "#Special26 Fri 7 cr, Sat *estimates* 9 cr +. Total: Rs 16 cr +. Excellent growth at multiplexes. Expect bigger growth on Sun."
Adarsh has also tweeted about the film's business in the overseas market, "UK: #Special26 Fri £ 25,964, Sat £ 44,959. Total: £ 70,923 [Rs 59.96 lacs]. AUSTRALIA: #Special26 Fri A$ 21,442, Sat A$ 32,993. Total: A$ 54,435 [Rs 30.05 lacs]."
The film has received accolades from all quarters and thus the word of mouth publicity is expected to help it in the longer run.
Taran Adarsh also tweeted about the box office collection of Prabhudeva starrer 'ABCD', "#ABCD Fri 5.5 cr, Sat 6.5 cr. Total: Rs 12 cr. 50% jump in North. Overall, 20% growth on Sat. 3D screens running to packed houses."
The industry experts are still waiting for the first superhit of 2013.
