Speeding car hits three policemen in Delhi

New Delhi: Four people, including three beat policemen were injured on south Delhi’s Lodhi Road when a speeding car hit them. The incident occurred around 2.30 am on Sunday morning.

They have been admitted to the All India Institute of Medical Scientists where their condition is stated to be serious.

Police say the driver is absconding.

A hit-and-run case has been registered at the Lodhi Road police station.

Police say those in the car may have been criminals.

“They can be involved in a criminal activity as they did not stopped. They damaged three barricades and a motorcycle. Three policemen and one civilian have been injured,” said Deputy Commissioner of Police Anil Shukla.
