Spell cast on Ronaldo, Spain worried

New Delhi: A series of rituals are being performed outside the Spanish Embassy in Lima on Monday to lift a spell that has supposedly been cast upon Real Madrid superstar Cristiano Ronaldo.

A mysterious Spanish figure known as 'Wizard Pepe' claims to have been paid by an equally mysterious young woman to curse the Portuguese international, who injured his ankle playing for Real against Marseille in the Champions League on September 30.

Ronaldo has not played a match since. He will also miss the visit of AC Milan to the Bernabeu on Wednesday.
