New Delhi: She is a famous Hollywood actress, a women empowerment activist and also a Global youth AIDS ambassador.
Ashley Judd has now joined actors like Richard Gere and Ralph Fiennes who have come to India to spread awareness on HIV-AIDS.
So which is her favourite role?
“Well in an interesting way, they all work together,” Ashley says.
Saving the world is apparently her favourite subject now like the actress claims. Does that mean have movies taken a backseat?
“I still enjoy my creative life. In fact I’ll be doing a couple of films this year,” she says.
Apart from a documentary with Sushmita on AIDS awareness, Ashley has been busy networking in what she calls her parallel universe, Bollywood.
“I am familiar with Bollywood and it was lovely to meet Sushmita as well as Shah Rukh. We were able to approach him with regard to do some public service announcements on behalf of India’s vulnerable. He's wonderful and has agreed to help us out. It’s very important,” she says.
Following Mumbai and Delhi, the third leg of the actress's tour will take her to Jaipur on March 23.
