SRK producing TV musical for children

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan is known for pampering his two children. And now, he is set to enthrall children across the country with a new musical drama that he is producing for Disney Channel.

The show is titled Ishaan and it's based on an inspirational journey of a young boy who finds friends and a sense of belonging through music.

"I have always enjoyed watching Disney Channel with my kids and I am happy that my company is producing a show that will be part of the Disney family," Shah Rukh, who heads the television arm of his Red Chillies Entertainment, said in a press release.

The show will include a soundtrack of 11 original tracks. Other than various child artistes, Ishaan will see television personalities Shruti Ulfat, Rajinder Mehra and Rajiv Paul.

It will go on air May 15.
