Indore: Activists of Uma Bharti's Bharatiya Jan Shakti (BJS) on Saturday staged a demonstration outside cinema houses showing Shahrukh Khan - starrer Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna protesting against the actor's statement in defence of cold drink companies.

The workers shouted slogans outside the cinema houses and multiplex PVR showing the movie.

Local BJS leaders warned that films featuring the actor would not be allowed to run unless he sought apology for his statement within a week.

Tight security arrangements have been made at multiplex and cinema houses showing the movie.

Several states, including Madhya Pradesh, has imposed ban on cold drinks in the wake of report detecting pesticide residues in cold drinks.
