New Delhi: One can be sure you have never calculated how much it costs for superstar Shah Rukh Khan to take a five-minute bathroom break.
But maybe it is time to ponder on that because Shah Rukh this year is going to get paid some obscene sums.
The actor has topped the Hrithik-Adlabs contract by signing a Rs 35-crore deal with three leading brands in the country for product endorsement, one of which reportedly belongs to Mukesh Ambani-owned Reliance wing.
The deal covering two years will require Shah Rukh to share his talent with each company for an exorbitantly expensive five-days-a year.
With Rs 35-crore-a-year minus the films, stage shows and other commercials Shah Rukh dabbles in, some people tried to calculate the economics behind King Khan's every day activities.
Around Rs 80,000 apparently get flushed down the toilet every time Shah Rukh takes a five-minute bathroom break! And if he spends a mere 30 minutes eating a meal that will amount to Rs 4.85 lakh, that’s over 14 lakh for three meals a day!
The cost accrued for a four-hour long nap will be a nightmarish Rs 38.8 lakh. Guess it works out better if Shah Rukh sticks to his cigarettes and cola diet. Chew on that!
