Bollywood unblogs its mind on the Web

Mumbai: Stars and celebrities are baring their souls and it's out there for the world to be read on their blogs.

The latest to join the Bollywood blogosphere is Karan Johar, who can now be caught on mynameiskaran.com.

The 36-year-old filmmaker begins his innings as a blogger by admitting to have always been star struck and harbouring a desire to be popular, till the death of his father changed his perspective of life and relationships.

Like Karan Johar, Aamir Khan, too, is in a mood to confess on his blog. The actor admits to having started smoking again due to the pre-release tension of his nephew's debut film Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na.

He writes, “I know you guys are going to kick the **** out of me; my family is already doing that. In fact, that's one of the reasons I haven't posted for so long, I mean because of my smoking. I didn't know how to face all of you.”

Big B is also in an introspective mood as he shares his thoughts on the relevance of being kind and good in today's world in a recent post on his blog.

Bachchan's blog got a huge response from readers, which has led him to post a rather emotional note on his webpage: "I never imagined so many would be affected by my thoughts of Day 55. I never imagined so many would send reassurance and understanding. Maybe I should have kept it to myself. Maybe I should not have given impression of an issue so personal. Maybe I should have just kept quiet and reserved.”

With the usually reserved Ram Gopal Varma too now reacting to his critics and airing his views on hits and flops through his website, Bollywood's blogosphere is definitely getting more personal than anything we've seen in showbiz till date.
