New Delhi: It could be a month before the tanker Stolt Valor and its crew are released by Somali pirates, say the owners of the vessel.

Four vessels that were to have left Mumbai on Wednesday for passage through the Gulf of Aden have put off their departure.
Seafarers are demanding an Indian Navy escort Indian ships passing along Somali waters. India is expected to send another warship to that area, but for now, the USNavy says it's ready to partner the Indian Navy in patrolling the waters off Somalia.
