BANGALORE: Depressed over the college management not giving him transfer certificate (TC) to get admission in other colleges, a first BCom student allegedly tried to end his life by consuming poison on Thursday.
Pavan, a native of Koppa and a student of J K School of Management near Bidadi, is the youth who attempted suicide. He was staying along with his relatives in Rajarajeshwari Nagar.
According to the police, there was allegedly very less students in the college and there were no adequate lecturers. He had decided to change the college and has asked the college principal to give him the TC. However, the college management had refused to give him the TC. A depressed Pavan allegedly consumed poison at his residence. He was immediately shifted him to a hospital and is recovering.
