Suman Ranganathan returns to Kollywood

Sultry actress, Suman Ranganathan is shooting for Ajith's next flick.

She is also be playing a role of a cop in Nagshekar’s 'Mynaa'. “I share screen space with Sharath Kumar, who is an ACP in 'Mynaa', a story based on reality,” she reveals.

Known for her acting abilities, Suman seems to be the current favourite among the film-makers who are keen on casting her for some extraordinary roles. Her character in 'Siddlingu' is one of the best examples. “It is fantastic and a joy to work in special roles which are thought out of the box. As it is, I am not for those lengthy characters nor do I wish to play the girl next door. I choose to be part of intense cinema, where I stay in people’s mind after they watch the movie," she says.

Her sincerity towards her roles is the reason for directors to particularly have her in mind when they create a film. “I get into the skin of the role in various developing stages. Believe it or not, the cop role that I play in 'Mynaa', is portrayed in such a manner that it seems I have been one all my life. I grow up with the character and get into it. I have my own style; whether glam or de-glam. I go by how the directors wants me to portray the character and then put extra effort into it. Sincerity comes through in the roles I play,” she says.
