Mumbai: Suneil Shetty is one actor who likes to practise what he preaches. Shetty, whose upcoming film Mumbai Chakachak is about cleaning up the city, hit the streets to participate in a clean up drive.
On Tuesday morning, the actor-producer 'swept' many by surprise when he grabbed a broom and started cleaning the streets, all in a bid to show his support for "Worli Chakachak," a clean up drive in South Mumbai.
"This campaign will spread awareness, it will make sure the entire area is clean, whether its the planting of trees or cleaning of the entire premises, following rules or regulations," said Suniel.
Suniel agreed to clean up the city's mess to promote his upcoming production Mumbai Chakachak
"Mumbai Chakachak has this kind of campaign and movement and along with that there is a love story as well. Woven with an obsessed couple who wants Mumbai to be clean. We want Mumbai to be so clean that if we drop vada pau on the road we should be able to pick it up and eat it. It's a beautiful film," he said.
Full points to you Suneil! As for his film Mumbai Chakachak, it is directed by Sanjay Jha and stars Rahul Bose, Cyrus Brocha and Mandira Bedi in the lead. It is slated to release by the end of this year.
