New Delhi: Actor Sunny Deol was granted bail on a bond of Rs 25,000 earlier on Friday by a Jaipur court in a 1997 case.
Sunny Deol along with actress Karisma Kapoor, fight master Tinu Verma and Satish Shah was accused for bringing a train to halt by illegally pulling the chain.
They were shooting for a film titled Bajrang when the unit stopped the train illegally for over 25 minutes at the Narena railway station of Phulera in the Ajmer division for a film shoot.
The next date of hearing of the case is on May 12.
Sunny Deol's lawyer A K Jain said, "Sunny Deol is not the main accused. It's a certain Mr Tolani who is no more. We hope to get justice in the High Court where the matter will be presented."
