Hyderabad: They are unbeaten so far but Sunrisers Hyderabad batsman Cameron White feels the team's batsmen need to lift their game to make the bowlers' job a little easy.

"We need to lift our game as batsmen. The bowlers are doing a good job. From a batting point of view, myself definitely included, we have to make the bowlers' job a bit easier and bat better," he told reporters late last night after Hyderabad managed to post victory against Royal Challengers Bangalore in the Super Over.

White's two towering sixes helped Hyderabad beat RCB by a five-run margin in the Super Over, after the scores were tied at the end of 20 overs. "A lot of things could have been done better. We definitely could have batted and fielded better. The bowling is quite good at the moment but there are still some areas to work on as well. We are fighting hard to win these matches. So, there is a lot of room for improvement. Hopefully, on Tuesday, we can show some more improvement to win," he said. Hyderabad faces RCB again on Tuesday in Bangalore.

Even in their first match against Pune Warriors India, Hyderabad bowlers helped the team win by 22 runs, though the total was a modest 126. White complimented the bowlers for restricting RCB to 130. He also lauded the unbeaten knock of 44 runs by local boy Hanuma Vihari, which eventually sealed the win.

"I think the bowlers did a good job in the first innings to restrict RCB to 130 and then Vihari played nicely to get us to the Super Over. It is nice to get a score we could defend," he said. Vihari also excelled with the ball by getting the dangerous Chris Gayle out in the second over itself.

Meanwhile, RCB's Moises Henriques said his team needs to reflect on how it could have done better, though it did not fare too badly. "There were some key moments in the game, where we can look back and assess how we could have done a little bit better. But it is certainly nothing to panic about. We played

some pretty good cricket today and unfortunately we did not get the result. But we are going to stick to what we deserve," he said.
