Supermodel Naomi will clean toilets, orders court

New Delhi: Supermodel Naomi Campbell will now be mopping floors and cleaning toilets for a while instead of walking the ramp. West London Magistrate's Court has sentenced Naomi to 200 hours of community service after she was accused of kicking and spitting at two police officers on an aircraft in April.
Naomi had lost her cool because one her bags had gone missing and had even accused the officers of targetting her as she was black. She will also have to pay a compensation of 200 pounds each to the police officers, and 150 pounds to the aircraft captain.
This is not the first time Naomi has been in trouble with the law.
She spent five days mopping floors as part of a community service sentence in New York last year after throwing a mobile phone at her housekeeper during an argument over a pair of jeans. She was also ordered to attend anger management classes.
In January last year, she pleaded guilty to assault for hitting her maid with a mobile phone.
In a one-page summons filed in Manhattan Supreme Court, Naomi's former assistant Amanda Brack said she was subjected to a series of "verbal, physical and emotional attacks" by the model shortly after she was hired by her in February 2005.
According to Brack's lawyer, Naomi struck Brack in the face with her Blackberry, slammed her against a wall and slapped her repeatedly across the face because a piece of her luggage got left behind during a trip to Brazil. The lawyer said Naomi threw a cell phone at Brack's face during a subsequent outburst at the model's New York apartment.
During an April 2005 photo shoot in Morocco, Brack's lawyer said that Naomi exploded in rage at Brack over a forgotten piece of clothing. He further said Naomi left her assistant stranded in Morocco without funds, tore up her passport and threw it into the swimming pool and left her to pay the hotel bill.
In a final incident at Naomi's Park Avenue home, she ripped a sweater Brack was wearing "off her neck" and accused the assistant of stealing the garment.
Another maid, Gaby Gibson, told the New York Post that Naomi whacked her in the back of the head when she was unable to find a pair of black designer jeans.
"She said it was to teach me a lesson," Gibson had stated then.
