Mumbai: As Shah Rukh Khan could not go all out and promote his film Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi before it hit screens, the actor is making sure nobody escapes the post-release hype.
After relentlessly making his presence felt at various events and press meets through the week, SRK met with some of his fans and FM contest winners at Yashraj films studios on Thursday.
“It is nice to see fans and meet them, some of them start crying when they see a star but that is the way they react when they see a star,” says King Khan.
“It is a good way for the star to meet his fans and for the fans and the radio station to catch up on the hype,” says Radio One Station Ram Gopal Iyer.
And, while Shah Rukh has got rave reviews for his performance as Surinder Suri and Raj in the same film, he confesses that it's the role of Surinder that came naturally to him.
“Don’t we do that we give roses, we go and have gol gappa. I don’t know whether you do I Mumbai but I use to do it in Delhi,” says Shah Rukh.
Yash Raj Films have claimed that the initial collections of Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi has managed to break box-office records. The ball is now in Aamir Khan's court with Ghajini releasing next on December 25.
