Chennai: It's the turn of South Indian actor Surya, after actors Madhavan and Vikram, to try his luck in Bollywood in a Ram Gopal Varma film.
The actor was spotted at the annual function of the educational trust for under privileged children, which he runs with his father Shivakumar.
"I think they relate more with my films and characters, what I play. But I like to relate to the public more through his these real things. I like to be a real Surya than the actor Surya," the actor says.
It's been eight months since his last film Aaru hit the big screen, but Surya has some exciting plans in store.
"The next film will be with Vishnu Vardhan and I have other talks with Ram Gopal Verma sir and another very famous Telugu director Chandrashekhar," Surya says.
But surprisingly making a big splash in the Bollywood does not figure in the actor's list of priorities at the moment.
"I don't think I will continue with Bollywood. It'll be just a one-film venture which Ramu sir wanted me to do. Otherwise I'm more interested in South," Surya adds.
