Actresses Sushmita Sen and Konkona SenSharma are supporting P&G's project Shiksha, which collected Rs 2.27 crore through a consumer participation progarm.
For the Bollywood beauties, the project supports the education of underprivileged children, a cause that is close to their hearts.
“It’s a movement and it’s not for this now. It’s an ongoing process,” said Sushmita.
“As of now we have a beginning, we will graduate and then perhaps education will be provide to all,” said Konkona
But it was more than just lip service, as Sushmita donated the sum of Rs one lakh to her pet project. For the cause, every little step counts.
