KANNUR: The office-bearers of the Kerala Police Association placed under suspension following their involvement in the flex board controversy here have been reinstated, according to official sources here.
The six policemen placed under suspension had tendered an apology and had urged the authorities to withdraw their suspension and reinstate them in service.
They stated that they had nothing to do with the replacement of the flex board hailing K Sudhakaran MP in front of the AR police camp here. The board was removed following the orders of the SP Anoop Kuruvila John on Republic day before the R-day parade. But the board was replaced a few hours later.
