Shahid Kapur and Priyanka Chopra’s Kaminey was to be released on August 14 but that has been delayed now with all cinemas and multiplexes remaining closed for three days because of the swine flu threat.
However, the film will release in the rest of the country according to its schedule.
“Whether they (state government) resume after the three-day shutdown has still not been decided,” Shahid said.
While the director of the film said, “This is only in Mumbai and Pune. I have a hunch it is because of the Dahi Handi festival because there’s a lot of mass movement in Mumbai during the event.”
